The tournament has been held since 1267 (at least, that's what the organizers say), and it originated when residents at a city fair were given too sour apples, which made them grimace.
The men's title went to 52-year-old Tommy Mattinson for the 19th time in a row, and the women's title went to 37-year-old Claire Listen (for the eighth time).
