A 44-year-old arsonist from Tripoli, Greece, was sentenced to 36 months in prison and a fine of 1,000 euros. The woman was arrested because she had intentionally and repeatedly started fires.

The woman's dangerous hobby led to two forest fires. The local fire department said in a statement that the suspected culprit of the fires was arrested on August 26, 2024, by investigators from the Tripoli Police Department. It is noted that the woman is a Greek citizen and is responsible for the intentional arson.
