Japanese company creates a manned robot
It looks like battles between piloted robots will soon become a reality. Japanese startup MOVeLOT has been assembling mechs for several years.
Many science fiction fans dreamed of controlling a huge combat robot in their childhood (or not so childhood). Japanese engineers decided to make these fantasies come true, and they did it with their characteristic enthusiasm and tenacity. The startup MOVeLOT, apparently tired of boring office routine, has been working for two years to create a real piloted robot, also known as a mecha or mech.
At the moment, these steel giants are already able to repeat the movements of the pilot's fingers, which is impressive in itself. The creators of the robot claim that they are going to use it exclusively for entertainment. But who knows. Maybe we will soon see the first inter-corporate mech battles for the best parking space or the last donut in the office cafeteria? In any case, the future promises to be exciting, and perhaps a little scary.
