The size of Brittany Lacayo's tongue at its widest part is 7.9 centimeters. At the same time, the American's organ is wider than long, because it is 2.5 centimeters wider than it is long. The record holder is not the only one of her kind - the previous record of 7.33 centimeters lasted 10 years and also belonged to a resident of the USA Emily Schlenker.
Brittany says that as a child she was teased because of her interesting appearance, and even her family made fun of the girl's peculiarity, but she did not pay any attention to these taunts. And one day a friend said that Lacayo was not alone, and sent a video with the previous record holder. After that, the girl decided to measure her tongue.
The widest tongue in the world among men also belongs to an American - Brian Thompson. The width of his organ is 8.88 centimeters.
