Temerario - the successor to the Lamborghini Huracan is officially presented (27 photos)

Lamborghini has presented the successor to the Huracan supercar to the public. The new model is called Temerario, and it looks like a mix of elements of the retired Huracan and the new Revuelto, which replaced the Aventador as the brand's flagship.





The model is based on a new, all-aluminum chassis, and right behind the driver is a twin-turbocharged V8, spinning up to 10,000 rpm and paired with an 8-speed robot with two clutches and three electric motors. Two of them are installed on the front axle, and the last one is between the internal combustion engine and the gearbox. The total output of the power plant is 920 hp. Temerario is capable of moving only on electric traction. To do this, the supercar uses only the front wheels. The power reserve is small - about 8 kilometers (the battery capacity is only 3.8 kW h).

The Lamborghini Temerario gains the first hundred in 2.7 seconds, and accelerates from 0 to 200 km/ h in 7.7 seconds.

The interior of the supercar is not much different from the older Revuelto. There are three displays on the front panel: a digital instrument panel, a vertical touchscreen media complex and a small screen in front of the passenger, which duplicates some indicators from the driver's panel. Most of the on-board functionality is offered to be controlled either from the central display or from the buttons on the steering wheel.

Lamborghini has not yet shared the exact weight of the new product, but it is assumed that the Temerario is more than 270 kg heavier than the Huracan. Part of this increase, namely 25 kg, will be helped by the Alleggerita package with a proprietary aerodynamic body kit, which not only reduces weight, but also increases downforce by 103%. The lightweight Alleggerita is also shod with carbon fiber wheels, equipped with a titanium exhaust system, and as a bonus, potential owners can also order carbon fiber door panels, thinner windshields and polycarbonate side windows.

The cost of the Temerario was not announced during the presentation, but it can be expected that they will ask for more for the new product than for the Huracan.
