Kevin Spacey refuses to leave his Baltimore mansion, despite it being foreclosed on and auctioned off for $3.2 million. The investor who recently purchased the mansion claims that the actor has no plans to move out for the next six months.

Spacey has been in the media spotlight for several times over allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. However, this time he is in the spotlight for a different reason.

While the 65-year-old actor was acquitted of nine sex crime charges in 2023, his return to film and television has yet to yield the results he hoped for. Spacey is reportedly “broke” and can’t afford to maintain his Baltimore mansion. However, the American Beauty star refuses to leave his home despite it being foreclosed on and sold over the summer.

Investor Sam Asghari has claimed that Spacey is refusing to leave and is asking for six months to vacate the mansion without making any payments. Asghari purchased the 9,000-square-foot home for $3.24 million, a significant decrease from the $5.6 million Spacey paid for the home in 2017.

The mansion, located on a pier in Baltimore, Maryland, was once one of the most expensive in the area, and Spacey purchased it at the height of his career, making a killing filming the Netflix series House of Cards. However, after being fired from the show amid sexual assault allegations, the actor was unable to make his $20,230 monthly mortgage payments, leading to foreclosure and Asghari's subsequent purchase of the property.

However, Spacey's representatives have denied the investor's claims. The actor's attorney, Edward W. Lee III, called Asghari's allegations "false." Spacey himself also publicly acknowledged that he lost his Baltimore home while appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored. "The house I lived in in Baltimore is in foreclosure. My house is being auctioned off," Spacey told Morgan.

"I'm not quite sure where I'm going to live now... I can't pay my bills," the actor admits. He's been trying to gradually reintegrate into society since his acquittal, and has already starred in the film "Spy in My Head," which was released earlier this year. However, Spacey's financial difficulties continue — he says he owes "millions of dollars" in legal bills.
