The owner has equipped the helicopter with a bathroom, kitchen and an outside terrace with a wooden bench. Four adults and a child can fit inside.

45-year-old farmer Will Roughton has converted an old WWII bomber into a luxury holiday home. The unusual "property" is located on a former airbase in Friskney (Skegness, UK).

Will found the helicopter in a museum in Wales, then bought it for £35,000 and transported it home.

"The conversion took about six months, but it was done alongside regular maintenance and office work. It sleeps four adults, and there's room for a sofa that can be converted into a small single bed for a child," says Rofton.

In addition, the owner equipped the bathroom, kitchen and outside terrace with a wooden bench. In the published photos, you can see that the beds are covered with blankets, and the walls inside are painted yellow.

"Unfortunately I have found no records of what specific missions this helicopter was involved in. All that is known is that it first flew on 18 September 1990. It was part of 848 Squadron based at RNAS Yeovilton," says Will, who rents out his home for £130 a night.

By the way, at the Friskney base, in addition to the Royal Navy helicopter, there is also a military aircraft, a combine harvester, an army ambulance, a fire engine and a tank.
