In the US, a dog ran away from home for 15 minutes, then returned on his own and rang the doorbell
The owners say they never taught their pet this skill.
The owner of the animal, Victor from Minneapolis, USA, said that he was at home with his children and at first did not even notice how his pet ran away for a short time.
As it turned out later, Buddy jumped over a meter-high fence and was gone for about 15 minutes. The owners did not have time to worry, when suddenly the doorbell rang: the dog returned on his own, approached the house and simply rang the doorbell.
In the footage automatically captured by the video intercom, Buddy's wagging tail first appears. Soon the dog stands on his hind legs, presses the doorbell and looks at the camera. And then he jumps down and patiently waits for someone to open the door for him.
Victor believes that Buddy is a "very smart dog" and learned the skill after seeing guests ringing the doorbell. After his spontaneous walk, the pet feels great. But the owners decided to increase the length of the fence so that Buddy would no longer escape.
