A British woman opened a "five-star" hotel for rodents (3 photos + 1 video)
Owners of rodents can pay 8-10 pounds and leave their animals in "five-star" cages, journalists reported. The owner of the "rooms" in the hotel for rodents guarantees that she will look after them while people are relaxing at the resort.
A British woman, the owner of five mice, decided to help people who come to the resort and would like to do something nice for their pets. So she opened a special hotel where you can leave your pets while their owners are having fun. The woman guarantees that the animals will be fed, will live in comfortable conditions and will have entertainment. The cost of such a service is quite affordable.
Journalists became interested in the invention of 38-year-old British Leanne Brydon, who opened a "five-star" hotel for animals, Arlo's Ratty Hotel, in the city of Blackpool (Lancashire County on the west coast of Great Britain). The woman looked after domestic mice from the age of six and at some point noticed that she could not travel because there was no one to look after them. Assuming that other rodent owners had such a need, she created a new service. The essence of the service is that in her house in the back room there is a two-story cage with all the amenities for animals. They will be fed here, entertained with toys, and ensure that everything is in order, the portal reported.
The photo showed baby mice having fun in special devices for rodents. The woman assured that they have the opportunity to "free range", and she is qualified enough to recognize signs of illness.
"I have a big cage that is as tall as I am, and it can be divided in half. So I can have a group at the top of the cage and a group at the bottom, and I feel like they are here as guests," journalists quoted Lian as saying.
Lian told a sad story about her own mouse named Arno. As it turned out, she once had to leave the house for a short time and a friend looked after the rodent. He fed and watered the animal, cleaned the cage, but did not notice any signs of illness. When the woman returned, she saw that Arno was not feeling well and had to be rescued. She named the hotel in honor of the mouse. In the very first days, a woman who had no one to leave her pet with contacted her - and that's how her business began.
A curiosity in Britain - how a rodent hotel works
On the Arlo's Ratty Hotel page you can find out the conditions of stay at the hotel. As it turns out, a day's stay costs from 8 to 10 pounds sterling. At the same time, owners can bring their own food and water, or pay extra for what they buy at the establishment.
A video filmed in one of the rooms of Arlo's Ratty Hotel was found on the Lytham St Annes Express Facebook page. The social network users approved of Ryan's idea, as evidenced by the comments under the news about the hotel. Someone warned that the main thing is not to let cats in there, someone called it "fantastic". Someone joked about the number of rats in the resort town.
"There are thousands of rats in Blackpool, this place will be full in no time, lol," the correspondent wrote.
