How often do you find yourself in funny situations? I hope not too much. But the former mayor of Rio de Janeiro had to be seriously embarrassed at a meeting of the city council. 
Cesar Maia, 78 years old, was elected mayor of Roi de Janeiro three times. After retiring, he did not retire, but continued to take an active part in the life of his native city. On June 5, he joined his colleagues via video link during an online town hall meeting on cultural heritage issues. 
But he chose an extremely unfortunate location. In order not to waste time, the ex-mayor visited the toilet, taking his laptop with him so as not to be distracted from government affairs. I put the laptop on the floor and didn’t pay any attention to the fact that the camera was on. So everyone present at the meeting saw Maya sitting on the toilet with her trousers pulled down around her ankles.
The official realized the awkwardness of the moment for so long that session leader Pablo Mello, who was desperately trying to continue his agenda through laughter, had to delicately ask Cesar to turn off the camera.
After the fact, his press service explained that the boss suddenly felt so bad that he was not aware that he was communicating with his colleagues from the toilet.
It is unknown whether Maya received a reprimand and how his toilet stream affected his career. The local media kept silent about this.
