A bat bit a singer at a concert
During a concert in Spain, singer Taylor Momsen was slightly injured by a bat. The animal landed on the woman and, probably out of fright, bit her.
The Pretty Reckless member and Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen was on tour in Spain the first weekend of June. The Pretty Reckless participate in AC/DC's tour and open for their concerts.
Momsen was performing the song when the audience suddenly began shouting and gesturing at the singer's leg. It turned out that the bat that flew onto the stage decided to land on Momsen. The animal - probably out of fear - bit the performer on the leg. Momsen took the incident without panic: with a mouse on her leg, she addressed the audience and said that she “truly is a witch,” making a reference to the song “Witches Burn” that she had just sung. She called for help from other members of the group, who were able to drive the bat away. The incident was captured on numerous videos.
After the concert, Momsen was taken to the hospital, where she was vaccinated against rabies. Over the next few weeks, the woman will receive another series of injections as part of her vaccination course. Momsen posted a video of the incident and the bite marks on her social networks and noted in the caption of the post that “the mouse was cute, but yes, it bit me.”
