The mountain coati, also known as the nosuha, is an omnivorous mammal of the raccoon family native to Central and South America.
Mountain coatis are relatively small animals, their body length ranges from 40 to 80 cm and their weight ranges from 3 to 8 kg. They have a long, flexible nose, which they use to find food and burrow in the ground. They also have a long tail, which they use for balance when climbing trees.
