Boeing's emergency landing without its front landing gear was caught on video
Fortunately, only another Boeing was damaged.
A Boeing 767 cargo plane, owned by the American company FedEx, made an emergency landing at Istanbul airport. The plane's front landing gear did not open, the pilots tried to correct the problem and flew over the runway to try to land normally the second time, but this did not help. Then the crew decided to land the plane on the fuselage.
Fortunately, the Boeing did not catch fire during landing; the aircraft stopped outside the runway. Airport technical services are currently working at the emergency landing site. The causes of the accident are still unknown.
It is reported that the plane was flying from Paris to Istanbul
Let us add that recently there have been more frequent reports of technical problems with Boeing aircraft. At first, this affected the 787 Dreamliner models, which lost their skin during flight. The US federal aviation safety regulator began inspecting the plant after reports that corporate employees may have skipped inspection of several aircraft and falsified documentation. Also, information is increasingly appearing that the aircraft manufacturer is saving as much as possible by using low-quality materials when creating aircraft. Interest in this topic is growing amid reports of the strange deaths of several company employees who reported gross violations during the construction of aircraft to the regulator. It is known that Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun resigned amid the scandal.
