ATACMS attack on a Russian terrorist training ground in the occupied Luhansk region
Ukrainian defenders launched an attack with ATACMS missiles on a camp and training ground of Russian troops in the occupied Luhansk region. The corresponding video was published online, Censor.NET reports.
Thus, the Defense Forces attacked the training ground of the Russian occupiers in the Lugansk region with American MGM-140 ATACMS cluster missiles.
It is preliminary known that this happened near the village of Rogovoe, 90 km from the front line. We are talking about three “arrivals”.
The video shows how the Russians lined up at the training ground, and Russian equipment was also stationed there.
Transfer of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine
MGM-140A is an M39 ballistic missile (ATACMS Block I) with a range of 165 km. It also has a powerful 950 element M74 cassette.
On October 17, 2023, the White House officially confirmed the transfer of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
According to media reports, there were only 20 units in question.
At the same time, the Pentagon said that Ukraine can only use ATACMS for attacks on occupied territories.
It is known that in April the Defense Forces attacked an airfield in occupied Dzhankoy with MGM-140 ATACMS missiles.
The media also reported that in March 2024, the United States transferred more than a hundred ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
