Construction of fortifications is nearing completion in 5 regions, - Ministry of Defense

In five regions of Ukraine, the construction of defensive structures is nearing completion. The Ministry of Defense reported this by publishing a corresponding video, Censor.NET reports.

The department stated that the construction of defensive fortifications in the following areas is nearing completion:

Sumskaya;
Zaporozhye;
Donetsk;
Kherson;
Kharkovskaya.

Earlier, at the end of April, Prime Minister Shmygal said that fortifications were being built in 14 regions, and only recently the government has allocated UAH 38 billion for them.

The Associated Press, citing dozens of Ukrainian military personnel, officials and construction workers, reported that the defense lines at the front are holes instead of trenches and trenches, and in the rear they are being built with a large lag.
