After this period, she will be required to be released into the wild.

Heather Pressdy was a registered nurse at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler. At the same time, she took part-time jobs in five more medical institutions in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland counties.

But Heather had a difficult character, she could easily be angered, and when she was angry, she did not skimp on expressions and sometimes even beat the nursing home residents. Old people and the infirm irritated her, and many times she expressed herself in the sense that they would wait for her, and she would kill someone.

But the court sentenced her to such a severe punishment not for foul language, but for a series of murders that she committed from 2020 to 2023.

41-year-old Pressdee decided that she needed to get rid of annoying patients. The criminal complaint says she often administered insulin during night shift hours when few staff were on duty. The nurse administered the lethal injection well before shift changes to prevent patients from being sent to the hospital, where her pattern could be detected by medical tests.

After 3 strange deaths, the police became interested in what was happening in hospitals and were on the trail of the nurse. The woman was arrested in May last year, and it turned out that over the last three years there were 22 attempts, 17 people aged 43 to 104 years died.

Victims of a nervous nurse

She spoke quite calmly about her victims and pleaded guilty. As part of the plea agreement, a Butler County judge sentenced Pressdee to three consecutive life sentences on three counts of murder, “plus 380 to 760 years to be served consecutively on 19 counts of criminal attempt to commit murder,” the attorney general's office said.

She will not be eligible for parole. The relatives of the victims do not agree with this decision and believe that there is no justice in this.

"She's pure evil," said Melinda Brown, the sister of one of the dead patients. “We will get justice when she meets her maker.”
