“Fish Rain” took place in Iran
The streets of Iranian Yasuj were covered with live fish after rain and tornadoes.
It rained fish in the city of Yasuj in Iran, as evidenced by videos taken by local residents. In footage posted on social networks, you can see live fish falling from the sky and lying right on the road, fluttering. The reasons for this phenomenon are unknown, but it is believed to be related to bad weather.
This happens when a tornado sweeps over a body of water and captures fish. Then it is carried to land by wind currents. In Yasuja, judging by the footage, bad weather happened on the day of the “fish” rain. In addition, the city is crossed by a river, from which the wind could throw fish onto the streets.
