Caution! The post contains shocking material. Make sure you really want to see it and you are over 18 years old.

If something looks like a lizard and behaves like one, this does not mean at all that the creature is a lizard. This could be the mysterious creature from the Scape Ore swamps.

The idea of reptilians who are able to turn into people is associated with some kind of global conspiracy. But nowadays, for some strange reason, the idea of lizard people is becoming more and more widespread. There are many versions of their appearance.

Such theories include identifying them as surviving dinosaurs that evolved in accordance with the path taken by primates millions of years ago. This theory is supported by the fact that at one time it was lizards in the form of dinosaurs that were the main predators and rulers of the planet.

Thus, some consider it possible that a small number of them evolved but disappeared from the eyes of others. However, there is no evidence to support this theory. The only more or less reliable evidence that currently exists comes from Lee County in South Carolina, where a strange reptilian humanoid has been seen many times by witnesses.

Creek Legend

Creek Chiefs

One of the first accounts of the monster comes from the Native American tribe of Creeks (Macogs). In 1929, Indians came across a man-sized lizard in the South Carolina area.

The hunters tried to smoke a huge bear out of the cave. However, inside was a completely different animal - a lizard the size of a man. The monster rushed after them, grabbed one person and returned with him to the cave.

The same thing happened to the others. However, while returning with the last man, the lizard encountered a panther. The predators fought, and the hunter, taking advantage of the situation, ran away and returned to the tribe to tell this story.

The Lizard Man of Scape Ora

Newspaper article about Christopher

The next and more recent reference appears in a book by George Holliman Jr. The message from 17-year-old Christopher Davis turned the mutant practically into a rock star.

According to Davis, he encountered the creature while driving home at 2 a.m. on June 29. He pulled over to the side of the road bordering the Scape Or Marsh to change a tire.

When the guy stopped the car, he heard strange sounds behind him. Turning around, he saw something that looked like a giant lizard approaching him. According to him, it wanted to lift the car and jumped onto its roof while he was trying to drive away. Davis turned to the other side of the road to throw off his attacker.

When the guy returned home, he saw that the side mirror was broken, and the roof of the car was opened like a tin can. However, Davis could not find any other evidence of the attack.

He described a monster with glowing red eyes and three long thumbs with black sharp claws and rough green skin. Davis claimed that it was very strong and terribly evil. To make matters worse, the lizard man was also fantastically fast.

For a month after the incident, there were news reports that a large lizard had been spotted in the area on multiple occasions. And that many cars began to show signs of scratches from giant claws. All these incidents were concentrated within a radius of 5 kilometers. Police and local law enforcement insisted on the bear version.

Solid paws

To try to solve this mystery, the sheriff's department made several plaster casts of three-toed paw prints found in the area. Their length was about 35 centimeters. But local biologists said they were impossible to identify. The lawyers did not send them for further research. Curious people began to flock to the area in the hope of meeting the monster.

The hunt has begun

It is believed that this photo is the same reptilian from the swamps

As the lizard man became the object of increased interest and attention, hunters throughout the state began to track him down. A local radio station has announced a $1 million reward for anyone who can catch the creature alive. However, as autumn approached, the number of messages dropped sharply.

That was until August 1988, when an Air Force base pilot said he encountered a reptilian on the highway. He claimed that he shot and wounded the animal. The man presented scales and blood stains as evidence.

However, Kenneth Orr was soon arrested for filing a false report and illegally carrying a weapon. His justification was that he wanted to spur interest in the monster and the story.

However, it didn't end there. In 2008, CNN mentioned the reptilian in a story about a couple who reported damage to their car. But it was determined that the cause was a dog or coyote. In 2015, photographs of the lizard man taken by Jim Wilson appeared. But they also turned out to be fake.

The story of the lizard man is not particularly credible. Because it very clearly resembles stories about old monsters from legends. But it seems that not only does this not stop conspiracy theories, but it adds new fuel to their flame.

Some adherents believe that lizard people have become so integrated into society that they are now hiding in leadership positions. Such celebrities include the late Queen of England, the Bush family, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. No matter how much evidence there is to the contrary, some will never be convinced.
