In China, a woman put a miscarriage-causing substance in her pregnant co-worker's water so she wouldn't have to work for her during maternity leave. The Chinese woman was alarmed by the taste of the water, so she installed a hidden camera on her table.





A pregnant employee of the Hubei Provincial Hydrology and Water Resources Investigation Bureau recently began noticing that the water in her office mug had a strange taste. She switched to bottled water, but the taste remained.

The woman’s friends jokingly suggested that they wanted to poison her, but the Chinese woman took the situation seriously. She installed a hidden camera and found out that her colleague had put some kind of powder in her mug. It later turned out that it was a drug that could cause a miscarriage.



The woman did this because she did not want her workload to increase due to the maternity leave of her pregnant colleague. Now the police are looking into this matter.

The video spread on Chinese social networks and shocked users. Chinese government agencies are known to have a highly selective recruitment process, requiring rigorous examinations and interviews.
