Volunteers from more than 50 countries serve in the International Legion of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Ukraine.
The Main Intelligence Directorate reported this on the anniversary of the creation of the International Legion, Censor.NET reports.
The Legion united volunteers from more than 50 countries of the world, who, after a full-scale invasion, came to the aid of Ukrainians and fought against the troops of terrorist Russia,” the statement says.
The ranks of the GUR unit include experienced fighters, veterans of special operations forces and other military units from the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Denmark, and other countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
“The defense of Kyiv, battles in the Kharkov region, Nikolaev region, Kherson region, Zaporozhye, Donbass - the Legion’s soldiers participated in all the hot spots of the confrontation with Moscow and continue to bravely fight the enemy,” the GUR emphasized.
