They say that nature has no bad weather, but when you look at what is happening in the world, the question arises: is nature planning to wash away humanity in a hair dryer?
Heavy rains, followed by a destructive tornado, swept across Indonesia, with the province of West Java suffering the most.
Hurricane winds tore off roofs, metal sheets from advertising structures swirled in the air, trees fell on roads, cars were smashed. At least 20 people were injured and more than 490 houses were destroyed.
Reconstruction work has already begun after a powerful tornado hit the west of the island. According to the acting provincial governor, the tornado mainly affected the areas of Cikalenka and Ranchaekek in Bandung County, and Jatinangor and Chimanggung in Sumedang County.
Meanwhile, Brazil is actively drowning. Heavy rains caused severe flooding in Rio de Janeiro. There was such a flow of water on the streets that it easily carried away cars, even heavy trucks.
Terrible footage from the million-dollar Nova Iguazu (part of the Greater Rio de Janeiro agglomeration) is spreading across the network; eyewitnesses filmed how they literally miraculously managed to save a family trapped in a car by a strong flow of water.
Now the situation is stabilizing, the prolonged rain has stopped, and the authorities are counting the damage caused by the disaster.
