Fortunately, no people were injured. But the heavy truck and the drilling rig it was transporting were seriously dented.
Today, at about 5 o'clock in the evening, at the Pike Lake railway crossing, a freight train rammed a truck, which stalled in the most inopportune place. The driver attempted emergency braking, but was unable to stop the train. The freight train crashed into the side of the truck and dragged it for several tens of meters, collapsing an electrical pole along the way and breaking the wires.
It is noted that the heavy truck was transporting a drilling rig. It is unknown what damage it received, but according to reports from people on the ground, there is little left of the truck itself, although the photographs cannot tell.
Surprisingly, no one was injured in the incident. The only ones who had some difficulties (besides the engineer and the driver, of course) were the passengers of train No. 96 "Moscow-Barnaul". Their departure had to be delayed by three hours due to the emergency.
Two wheelsets of the train came off the rails. Neither the traffic police nor Russian Railways have yet commented on the situation.
