Pagani presented the updated Huayra R Evo with 900 horsepower (9 photos)
The Pagani Huayra supercar has been produced since 2011, and its R version - since 2021. The company has released a new modification with the Evo prefix. It is distinguished by a modernized V12 engine and an elongated stern for the sake of aerodynamics.
On the regular R-modification, an aspirated V12 with a volume of six liters develops 850 forces and 750 Nm of torque. The new version of Evo increased output to 900 “horses” and 770 Nm. The increase was provided by a new intake manifold, camshafts and exhaust system.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The maximum speed is stated at 351 km/h. The supercar is equipped with Pirelli P Zero Slick tires measuring 280/680 R19 at the front and 345/725 R20 at the rear. The brakes are carbon ceramic with special racing pads.
Due to the new aerodynamic body kit, the Huayra R Evo has grown in length by 10 centimeters compared to its predecessor due to the front splitter and by 19 centimeters at the rear thanks to the new stabilizer and wing.
The modified configuration increased downforce by 45%. In addition, there is a removable roof, without which the pressure increases by another 5%. At a speed of 320 km/h, the Pagani Huayra R Evo generates downforce that exceeds its curb weight. The dry weight of the supercar is only 1060 kilograms.
The track version of the supercar can only be used off public roads. It is equipped with “buckets” with six-point seat belts and fire-resistant finishing material.
