A powerful explosion was heard in Izhevsk, Russia

On the evening of February 7, a powerful explosion was heard in the Russian city of Izhevsk, known as one of the centers of the Russian defense industry.

Note that in the area of the explosion there is a test site for the Votkinsk military plant, which produces rocket engines.

The plant is included in the list of EU sanctions due to the production of missiles and ammunition for the Iskander and Tochka-U complexes, which Russia uses during its aggressive war against Ukraine.
