In the USA, a 65-year-old pilot pursued a woman using an airplane for 4 years. As a result, he ended up behind bars without the possibility of bail.
A pilot has been arrested in the United States for harassing a woman with flights over her home for four years in violation of a court injunction, writes the New York Post.
In October 2023, former commercial airline pilot Michael Arnold, 65, was accused of flying low over the home of 42-year-old Cassie Wilusz of Schuylerville, New York, numerous times in an attempt to harass her and her loved ones.
Arnold has been harassing Wilusz since 2019. Having met her in her cafe, the man first sent her inappropriate messages and photographs, and when Wilush blocked him on social networks, he began to fly over her house in a light aircraft and chase her in a car. Among other things, Arnold littered her yard with tomatoes, posted pictures of her house on his Internet pages, and even attended her husband's funeral.

After the next flight, the man was arrested at the airport, convicted of stalking and prohibited from approaching the woman. Some time later, due to repeated flights over Wilusz's house, Arnold was issued a restraining order in New York State. He continued to fly, using airports in Maine and Vermont. In October, Arnold was arrested twice for threats and stalking, but was released on bail both times.
Arnold was recently detained for the third time. This happened when he chased a woman in a maroon car in violation of a restraining order. Following a complaint from the victim, he was charged with criminal contempt of court and harassment.
