House made from thousands of glass bottles is up for sale for $432,500 (27 photos)
An original building is for sale in the US state of Arizona. Its creator used thousands of glass bottles during the construction, thanks to which the house is now filled with unusual light. For a mansion located in the desert, they are asking $432.5 thousand.
The residential building was built in 1968. Its architect and owner was artist Ted Bryson, who was impressed by the technology of ancient civilizations, which used scrap materials to build grandiose structures.
Bryson decided to build himself a more modest home, but also from what is usually thrown away - glass bottles. He also used natural stone, which the author collected from the desert surrounding the house.
In total, the building has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a dining room, an office, and reading rooms. Separately on the site there is a guest house, a kitchen and a workshop where the creator of the house previously worked. Realtors specifically emphasize that thanks to glass walls, some rooms in the cottage are filled with unusual light.
