The rarest Mercedes-AMG One hypercar is being sold in Dubai (31 photos)
F1rst Motors, a company that sells exotic cars, has added an extremely rare car to its range. We are talking about the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar, whose power plant is based on a 1.6-liter V6 turbo engine that powers a Formula 1 car. It also uses four electric motors, which allows the total output to be increased to 1063 horsepower.
The One can accelerate to 200 km/h in 7 seconds, but the sprint to hundreds will take 2.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 352 km/h. Since the One is a hybrid, it can also run on electric power alone. A tiny 8.4 kWh battery lasts for 18.1 km.
In total, the German automaker produced 275 hypercars. Their official cost was never announced, but the amount most often mentioned on the Internet was 2.72 million. Among the owners of Mercedes-AMG One are Formula 1 drivers Nico Rosberg and Valtteri Bottas.
The copy on sale is completely new. Its price at the Dubai car showroom is not publicly announced. Motor1 is assured that sellers are ready to part with the hypercar for 20 million dirhams, which is equivalent to $5.45 million or twice the estimated official price.
