The bird ran into the mud from which it had just been rescued
Miners working in the Bowen Basin coal mining region of Australia saw an emu bird stuck in the mud and decided to save it. However, this turned out to be not so easy.
The miners took a short break from their duties to save the bird. They spotted a baby emu stuck in the mud. However, the rescue operation turned out to be somewhat longer and, oddly enough, more comical than expected.
As soon as the slow-witted emu was pulled out by the neck onto a hard surface, he immediately darted back into the mud. I had to start all over again. However, the patience of the good-natured people was rewarded by the fact that they ultimately saved the bird. The emu rushed away - apparently to clean itself of dirt.
