The defendant attacked the judge during sentencing
In Las Vegas, a man epically jumped on a judge after she denied him bail.
Delon Redden was charged with aggravated battery and had multiple convictions for other offenses.
Once again, the defendant's lawyer requested probation, citing the offender's stable mental state. But the judge rejected this request, citing the fact that the accused had already been prosecuted for other offenses. She said Redden should still go to prison because he needs to "try something different."
At that moment, the defendant shouted insulting things at her, jumped over the bench and attacked.
Three bailiffs entered the battle to recapture the woman from the attacker. The judge and one of the employees were injured and were taken to the hospital.
