A 350-meter-long wig was created by a Nigerian woman.
Nigerian wig maker Helen Williams has set a world record by creating artificial hair that is 351.28 meters long. She spent 11 days and 2031 pounds sterling (more than 220 thousand rubles) on this.
The world's longest wig took 1,000 bundles of hair, 12 cans of hairspray, 35 tubes of glue and 6,250 hair clips. Helen noted that finding all this was not an easy task. Another challenge was finding a place where the wig could be laid out in a straight line to measure it - I had to do this near the highway. Now the woman keeps her product in the office and invites everyone to look at it.
Helen has been working as a wig maker for eight years, making between 50 and 300 pieces a week, and also passes on her experience to students, according to the Guinness Book of Records website.
