A cargo plane taking off from New York to Belgium was forced to return to the airport again. The culprit of the incident was the horse on board. The poor thing was so frightened by the journey that had befallen her that she broke out of her stall and started racing on board. AbcNews reported this on Wednesday, November 15. 
On November 9, the plane of the Icelandic airline Air Atlanta Islandic flew from New York (USA) to Liege (Belgium), and in addition to the usual cargo, it was transporting a horse. It must be said that transporting horses for competitions is common for cargo airlines. Transportation across the Atlantic costs from 5,000 to 13,000 euros.
However, this time something went wrong. Despite fresh hay, drinking water and a personal caretaker, the horse got so scared that it broke out of a special pen and began prancing around the entire plane.
The incident occurred 30 minutes after takeoff, when the plane was already at an altitude of more than 9.4 thousand meters.

The cargo plane turned around off the coast of Boston and dumped about 20 tons of fuel over the Atlantic for landing. The pilot asked the dispatcher for a veterinarian at the airport to subdue the animal.
