Russian football: a football player knocked down a referee
The incident occurred during the match of the Sixth League of the AFL Krasnodar amateur tournament between the teams “Izumrud” and “Tlustenkhabl”. A player from one of the teams violated the rules and attacked the referee after a yellow card.
In the middle of the first half, the latter's defender Anton Gapon violated the rules. The main referee of the match tried to calm him down, but the football player did not want to calm down his ardor.
As a result, Gapon received a yellow card, after which he immediately hit the referee, knocking him down. By that time, his team was leading 1:0, but instead of winning, it received a technical defeat. Gapon now faces a long disqualification, and the club could even be removed from the tournament.
