In Japan they figured out how to force schoolchildren to finish milk (4 photos + 1 video)
A dairy manufacturer has figured out how to make sure children finish their milk. He started printing comics on bottles.
In Gifu Prefecture, Japan, one company produces milk and dairy products and, in particular, supplies its products to local schools. However, recently disappointing statistics have become clear: approximately 65% of schoolchildren, having received a bottle of milk at lunch, do not finish the healthy drink. Not only do children not receive enough of the necessary substances contained in milk, but there is also a waste of a good product. To combat the problem, company representatives turned to such a popular art genre in Japan as manga comics.
After coming up with some exciting stories, the employees print comics on milk bottles. There is one trick to this.
The designs are white and, naturally, visually blend with the milk in transparent bottles. So, in order to get acquainted with the next comic book, children need to drink it all to the bottom.
True, there is a fear that schoolchildren will think of simply pouring out the milk and not drinking it at all, but the company certainly deserves praise for its ingenious idea.
