NASA posted footage of a rare “ring-shaped” solar eclipse (3 photos + 3 videos)
It was available to watch in South and North America. 
Yesterday the Moon covered 95% of the solar disk and a ring of fire flared in the sky. 
Such an eclipse occurs once every 23 years. They could be admired in Central America, Brazil, Colombia and the USA.
