Amusement park workers went home, forgetting visitors
In the city of Mannheim in western Germany, guests of an amusement park were forgotten in the cabin of a Ferris wheel at an altitude of several tens of meters. The employees turned off the attraction and went home.
Two guys remained in the Ferris wheel cabin. They started calling for help, and at the same time filmed a video of their adventure, which received millions of views on social networks.
Fortunately, other park visitors heard the calls for help. They reported the incident to security, after which the youths were lowered to the ground. In total they spent more than half an hour at the height.
BILD does not say whether the young people received an apology. What is known is that the park administration believes that the guys could have deliberately hidden in the cabin to get hype.
