Visitors to an attraction in Canada hung upside down for 30 minutes
One of the rides at a Canadian amusement park recently broke down, leaving visitors hanging upside down for half an hour. A nightmare for many of us!
An incident occurred at the Canadian amusement park Canada's Wonderland in Ontario. The Lumberjack ride suddenly stopped at the top while its visitors were upside down. They were safe and securely fastened, however, they had to spend half an hour in an uncomfortable position. A video of the incident was posted by one of the park guests.
“I’m definitely not setting foot on this attraction anytime soon,” the author wrote under the video.
Half an hour later everyone was brought down safely, no one was hurt. According to one of the visitors, a 14-year-old boy, it was uncomfortable to be in this position for half an hour - in the end, blood rushed to his head, his eyes became heavy and it became difficult to breathe. After the incident, all visitors were examined by the park's medical staff. Everyone felt fine - only two guests reported chest discomfort.
“It was scary. Thank God, no one fell. While visitors were hanging on the attraction, employees asked the others to move to a safe distance. Then workers climbed onto the attraction and tried to restart it,” said an eyewitness.
