In Berlin, schoolchildren beat up a teacher over the conflict in Israel
One of the students brought a Palestinian flag to school, and the teacher tried to take it away.
The conflict between Israel and Palestine worries residents of many countries around the world. Considering that Europe is home to many people from Eastern countries and those who sympathize with Israel, political conflicts are, alas, inevitable.
In Berlin, a teenager brought a flag to school as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinian people. A teacher noticed a 15-year-old student in the yard and tried to take the banner away. The boy did not plan to give up the flag - as a result, a verbal altercation resulted in a fight.
Carefully! The video contains fight scenes!
Judging by the video, the teacher was the first to use force, but then he stated that the instigator of the fight was a student, but this episode was not captured on video.
The incident was reported to the police. The official police Twitter account describes the incident as follows: “When the teacher asked him to remove the flag, the student refused. The 15-year-old showed solidarity with him and a verbal altercation ensued, during which the student head-butted the teacher and the teacher was forced to defend himself with a palm strike to the head. The teenager then kicked the teacher in the stomach.”
It is not reported whether disciplinary measures will be taken against the teacher and students. It is known that the management of the school where the fight occurred held an emergency meeting.
However, Berlin's official position on this issue is clear: earlier, German Chancellor Scholz said that Germany would support Israel's right to self-defense and condemn the actions of Palestinian fighters. Also in Germany the security of Jewish cultural and religious institutions will be strengthened.
