The powerful Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck is available only with a long wheelbase and a double-row cab, but one popular blogger known online as Chury RMZ has turned it into a short version with a single-row cab.
The red RAM TRX has undergone a more dramatic makeover. At the request of the pickup truck owner, the front driveshaft was removed. The car also received a shorter wheelbase, insets into the body, and a redesigned cabin and cargo platform. The original 6.2-liter V8 engine was left unchanged.
The guys from Chuy RMZ did not share a detailed description of the remodeling process on social networks. The company limited itself to announcing a customization project for the two-door RAM TRX. The lack of information raises many questions about the safety of such an upgrade.
If specialists simply cut out a piece of the frame, removed a couple of doors and reduced the cargo platform, then passive safety could noticeably suffer. It would also be a good idea to recalibrate the electronics for the new shortened modification.
The custom pickup truck is equipped with a 6.2-liter 712-horsepower V8 Hemi engine. A standard pickup with such an engine takes about 4.5 seconds to accelerate to hundreds.
