Rare Mercedes-Benz SL turned into an electric car (12 photos)

Everrati, a company that converts internal combustion engines into electric cars, has unveiled its new work, the Mercedes-Benz SL from the 1960s. The cost of the proposed work was estimated at £295,000.





Everrati offers to replace the factory 6-cylinder engine with an electric motor that can develop 176 or 304 hp. With. and works with a single-stage gearbox. Everrati specifically stipulates that all changes are made reversible. If desired, you can return the electric mod to a historically accurate state.

The studio does not specify the age of the example used as a donor for the demonstration car, but Mercedes-Benz produced the SL in the W113 body from 1963 to 1971.
