Ferry crew member pushed late passenger into the sea
In Greece, a member of the crew of the Blue Horizon ferry pushed a 36-year-old passenger out before departure. This trick turned into the death of a man.
Greek media published footage of the death of a 36-year-old man who was a little late for the Piraeus-Crete ferry and tried to jump on board the outgoing Blue Horizon ship, but the crew members did not let the citizen in and actually pushed him off the ramp. Excited passengers watched what was happening.
The preliminary cause of death was a blow to the head on a concrete pier, although some publications also wrote about falling under the propellers.
Eyewitnesses claim that the crew members demanded to show a ticket, although it can also be issued on board. Is this true, the police are investigating. The ferry was stopped and returned to Piraeus, the captain and crew are being interrogated.
