Mass brawl at Pakistani wedding caught on video
In the UK, a traditional Pakistani wedding ended in a mass brawl. The conflict was captured by a surveillance camera.
The traditional Muslim celebration, which took place in the vicinity of Manchester, turned into a massacre and got on video. The six-minute video shows how an unknown person approached the table in the male part of the hall and abruptly tore off the headdress from one of the guests. The situation spiraled out of control almost instantly.
The men rushed at each other, one of the participants began to beat the opponents with a cane, the other grabbed a plate. Soon, the fighters destroyed the partition separating the male and female parts of the hall, after which the guests of the holiday had to leave their seats in order to protect themselves from blows. At some point, one of the guests used a chair as a weapon. The bride and groom watched helplessly.
The celebration was held at Regent's Hall on the evening of 24 August. After the fight started, those present called the police, and the conflict was extinguished. However, one of the guests was arrested for trying to get into a fight with a policeman as well. The reason for the massacre remained unknown.
