Hungry otter stole $126,000 worth of carps
British Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa in Chester suffered thousands of dollars in damage due to a wild otter that stole rare koi from the hotel's ponds.
According to the publication, in total the predator managed to eat 50 fish. The cost of each of them exceeds 2.5 thousand dollars. In total, the otter dinner cost the hotel $126,000, according to British journalists.
"We are trying to find a way out to avoid further losses. Our multicolored carp are not only eye-catching inhabitants of our garden, who have enjoyed a happy, undisturbed life on our territory for many years, but also a significant investment in our hotel," commented on the incident.
