Koenigsegg has shared details on the new 4-seater Gemera hypercar with up to 2300 hp. (9 photos)
The new Koenigsegg has two full-fledged engines: gasoline and electric, - each of which would be more than enough for a supercar with a rank lower. 
Shown to the public three years ago in the status of a prototype road the car is slowly but surely approaching small-scale production, which is scheduled for the end of 2024, sharing with the public the nuances of your stuffing. Gemera is the first four-seat car developed by Koenigsegg and also a full-fledged hybrid. And in this case, it is not so much the price of the Swedish car that is striking (from 1.7 to 2.1 million euros), how much sophistication of its power plant.
Gemera will be powered by two engines: electric, located longitudinally on the front axle, and an internal combustion engine in the base. Moreover, both motors can distribute torque either separately or jointly and immediately to all four wheels through a complex system drives. Responsible for their work is a 3-shaft 9-speed gearbox LSTT, which has six wet clutches and a separate clutch for reverse gear plus additional side clutches to change thrust vector.
No less amazing is the electric motor itself - 6-phase, combining motor technology with radial and axial magnetic streams. With its own weight of only 39 kg, it generates 800 hp. With. power and 1250 Nm of torque. Comes with mighty baby 850-volt traction battery with a capacity of 14 kWh.
As for the gasoline unit, there will be two of them to choose from. Basic 3-cylinder (without camshafts, since each of the valves actuated by an electro-pneumatic actuator) with two turbochargers: main and auxiliary. With working volume 2 a liter biturbo engine produces 600 hp. With. at 600 Nm. In other words, the total the return of the installation already in the minimum package reaches 1400 liters. With. and 1850 Nm.
The extreme option implies the presence overpowered biturbo 5.0 (1500 hp/ 1500 Nm), and then the final power reaches a mind-blowing 2300 hp. With. at 2750 Nm of torque, which is a record for production cars.
Dynamic characteristics of Gemera in Koenigsegg are not published. Since test runs have not yet been carried out, there is nothing to confirm them.
