The accident occurred on July 26 on the Chelyabinsk-Novosibirsk highway in the Omsk region. The 39-year-old Renault Logan driver lost control of the car while overtaking and collided with an oncoming Scania heavy truck. As a result of the accident, 4 people died: the Renault driver, his 43-year-old wife, 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter.
