Luxury wine store robbed in Spain in broad daylight (6 photos + 1 video)
Surveillance cameras captured every detail a daring robbery of a liquor store on Spain's Costa Brava. The thieves were well prepared and carried out almost without interference conceived. The escape at the end of the video is especially impressive.
The theft happened during the day. There were many customers in the store and sellers were engaged in them, not noticing that someone was very interested stand-alone storage of rare vintage wines.
CCTV footage shows that There were three robbers. Two of them approached their goal - a high glass vault - from different sides. Having packed nine bottles in a backpack with a total value of 120,000 euro, two thieves slowly headed for the exit, and the third paused to close the backpack.
At that moment he was discovered by a shocked shop assistant. The whole trinity of robbers instantly made their feet, and they were followed by girls-sellers and, apparently, some guards - but it was not there.
The chase continued outside. Run after the robbers a few people, but those managed to cross the busy road and escape, because there was a car waiting for them in the parking lot.
Vins i Licors store owners shocked by what happened Can Grau in Palafrugell said the robbers' catch was 120,000 Euro. The bottles of wine they stole are worth between 1,000 euros and 30,000 euros.
The store owners also told local media that the same the thieves themselves had already tried to commit a robbery a month ago, but were spotted, forced to abandon their prey and flee.
The most expensive bottle stolen was Romanee Conti 2008 of the year, and the second most valuable is the vintage Romanee-Conti of 2013. Also thieves got two bottles of La Tache 2015 and a bottle of Richebourg 2015 of the year. Other stolen wines are 2018 Echezeaux, Romanee-Saint-Vivant 2018, Petrus 2016 and Chateau Margaux 2010 Year of release.
