An explosion occurred in the center of Tokyo

This afternoon in the most densely populated area of Tokyo, one of the rooms on the second floor of a residential building flew into the air. The exact cause of the explosion is still unknown, but eyewitnesses report a strong smell of gas at the scene.

The incident took place in the Minato area near Shimbashi Station. It is specified that the howl happened in a building that housed several offices and restaurants. According to rescuers, at least 4 people were injured.

According to preliminary data, the explosion happened in the restaurant due to a gas leak. It is noteworthy that two weeks ago, for similar reasons, a historic building was completely destroyed in the center of Paris.
