Chinese GAC demonstrates electric air car (3 photos + 1 video)
GAC Group presented the concept of the vehicle under called GOVE, on which you can navigate both on the ground and on air. The company notes that in the future such integrated mobility solutions will become an integral part of the product line brand, but no specific dates are given.
The name GOVE is derived from the words GAC, On the Go, Vertical and EV, then there is an electric car that can both move on the road, and perform vertical takeoff and landing. It consists of two modules that can function both together and separately.
A single passenger capsule is installed on a squat four wheel chassis. When undocked, the aircraft deploys six shoulders, each of which has two screws. Availability ADiGO's proprietary autopilot allows the lower part to leave on its own to the charging station. The aircraft also operates in an unmanned mode. No technical specifications have been revealed yet.
