8 years ago, a guy named Rich left his old life, and went to travel around Australia with his cat Willow. These two traveled around the country in a van, and since then visited every state and covered countless miles on the road to adventure. Let's take a look at their travels! 
"In 2015, I quit my career in IT, sold my house and that's it. things, and went on the journey of a lifetime. Then I was depressed and understood that my mental health was deteriorating - so I decided that it's time for a change," writes Rich.
Then he left his home state of Tasmania, prepared a van, took his cat Willow and went on a trip all over Australia. They visited all the Australian states, traveling in a campervan. At first, Rich was worried about how his pet would behave in travels, but Willow became his faithful companion. 
In 2016, while they were traveling with the cat, Rich met his love - a girl named Steph. She came from the UK and She had a work visa. Then the guy invited her to travel with them a couple of months, and the girl agreed. Three years later, Rich made her an offer. When they returned to Hobart, the boy's hometown, many expected that they would "settle down" - but the guys had more global plans. 
"When I got back, I found a job at a local cat shelter, where I once took Willow. I helped them with marketing and fundraising funds, and decided that my IT skills would come in handy. Then I realized that a career doesn't have to be what I imagine it to be represented. Realized that I could use these skills to help animal welfare organizations across the country," the guy writes. 
Rich has since helped shelters across Australia as IT-specialist. From Hobart, the trio set off on a new adventure through Australia in a motorhome. According to Rich, in a week they drive through more than 350 km: they prefer not to rush, but to enjoy every moment of travel. As the guy says, kind of "live in the moment" taught Willow. On every trip she is there, remains the most faithful friend. and companion of their masters. 
"For me, Willow is a unique cat. She was with me on every step - from the time of depression to a new life on the road, a moment, when I found my love, and began to globally help other animals. I I am very grateful to her for everything she gives me. Right now the three of us we are on our way to Exmouth, in Western Australia. We don't know what awaits us in the future - but I know for sure that we will always be together," says Rich.
