Russian troops began to actively use the new Murom-M complexes at the front to spy on the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A Ukrainian soldier and radio technology expert with the pseudonym Sergey Flash on Facebook revealed their characteristics and principle of operation.

"Murom-M" is a device for long-range visual surveillance, which autonomously looks out for manpower and equipment. It is equipped with an optical camera with a good zoom that distinguishes a person at a distance of up to 10 km, as well as a thermal imager that detects a car at 8 km and people at 4 km.
