Not all Siamese twins want to separate. For example, Lupita and Carmen has been together for 22 years - and they are not going to be separated. However some parents still wish their children a separate life, especially when there is a possibility to separate them.








The couple found out at week 10 that they were expecting Siamese twins. The probability of birth is quite rare: only 1 in 200,000 newborns. 5-8 Siamese twins are born per year, however not everyone survives or can subsequently exist comfortably.



Naturally, the couple was shocked. They hesitated for a long time what to do, but decided not to terminate the pregnancy. Moreover, the scan showed that future babies Jamie Lynn and Amy Lynn have separate hearts and heart sacs, this greatly increases the chances of survival and future separation.
